Bucket Elevators for Mining

Bucket elevators work to move material over a vertical or inclined distance. The elevator has an engine that runs the system, a chain, buckets, loading and offloading system and other accessories. Buckets are attached to a chain that moves round over a vertical distance. The materials are loaded into the buckets at the material source and transported via the system to the discharge point where they are offloaded. Different systems are used to load and offload the system. A centrifugal bucket elevators system works by using centrifugal forces to tilt and scope materials from a heap and thereby does not need a system of loading. The buckets can either be positioned at a distance as required by the centrifugal type elevators or close to each other as in other system types.
