Registration Process:
To register with the American Notary Network, you must first
click on the "Click here to Register"
button located on our Home Page. From
there you can read the benefits of the membership and
choose your method of payment. After your payment selection, follow
the instructions given on the
three pages to follow: Personal Profile, Coverage Area, Experiences,
and finally, Availability and
Rates. (the last 3 pages are optional, but helpful when someone
is looking for specific criteria)
If you selected "Pay by Credit Card" as your payment
option, you will be redirected to a secured site.
We chose PayPal for this function due to their proven track record
in secured online transactions.
We want all members to feel totally safe when using our Site,
so please feel free to browse
PayPal's Security Center and Privacy Policies.
Note: Your PayPal subscription is not reoccurring. (see Renewal
below)
If you selected "Pay by Check" as your payment option,
you will redirected to a page that instructs
you where to send your check, and when your account will become
active (usually 7 to 10 days)
Security:
The American Notary Network only displays information that
you, the member, provide in your
Profile. We never, at any time, have access or knowledge to any
information given to PayPal.
We respect our members privacy, that is why we have added a function
to your profile, which
is explained in the "Updating Profile" section of Help
Central.
Updating Profile:
We understand that keeping your profile information up-to-date
is extremely important to your
business endeavors. This is why we allow all members full access
to their profiles, 7 days a week,
24-hours a day. Once you make a change to your profile, it is
updated instantly! To edit your profile,
simply login at the Main Login Console, click the Member Profile
button on the main navigation bar.
Standard Features:
Update Personal Information: (Name, Address, Contact Information,
etc.)
Enhance your Service Area: (creatively design the area your
service to affect search results)
Update Experiences and Commissions: (Years working, specialties,
commissions and certifications)
Update Schedule and Rates: (Work schedule, i.e. 8am-5pm Mon-Fri
and your service rates)
Exclude Profile from Search: This option gives you the ability
to temporarily exclude your profile from
all searches in case you are unavailable to perform your services.
(vacation, emergency, etc)
Renewals: When you membership is one month from expiring, a "Renew
button will be visible in
your profile update screen. Here you have the choice to renew
or let your membership expire.
